Postpartum Sleep Support

Everyone assumes that once your baby begins sleeping longer, you will too. But for many postpartum moms, sleep does not return that easily. After months of listening for every sound, waking frequently, and remaining ready to respond, your body can stay on alert even when your baby no longer needs you as often. You may feel exhausted all day but struggle to fall asleep, wake automatically throughout the night, or have trouble settling back to sleep. You are not doing anything wrong. Your nervous system may simply need help learning how to rest again.

Dr. Angela Holliday Bells Story

Why This Work Matters to Me

Postpartum moms often become a forgotten part of the sleep conversation. So much attention goes toward helping the baby sleep that very little support remains for the mother once the baby starts sleeping longer.

I experienced this shift myself. My son began sleeping through the night, but my sleep did not immediately return. My brain had become accustomed to staying alert and listening for him, even when he was peacefully asleep.

As a physician and sleep specialist, I knew that improving my sleep required more than simply going to bed earlier or trying to relax. I needed to retrain the patterns my brain and body had developed during months of interrupted sleep.

That experience strengthened my passion for helping postpartum moms feel seen, supported, and rested again.

The Postpartum Sleep Reset

I created the Postpartum Sleep Reset for moms whose babies are sleeping longer, but who still feel wired, alert, or restless at night.

This four week program uses evidence based sleep strategies to help retrain a hyperalert nervous system and rebuild healthier sleep patterns. It focuses on the unique challenges that can continue after months of broken sleep, nighttime monitoring, and feeling responsible for responding at any moment.

The goal is to help you sleep more deeply and consistently while still feeling confident that you will wake when your baby truly needs you.
